We liked this place! It has a fun vintage motel kinda vibe. The room was clean and comfortable. The free kayaks were awesome. Being able to walk to Snook’s (and get 10% off) was an awesome perk since Key Largo isn’t generally a walkable place. Also, they let us check-in at NOON instead of 4 pm which was so nice! This is a great base for John Pennelcamp State Park, Biscayne NP, Everglades NP… Sunset from the pier was wonderful. A bit pricey for what you get, but with a good deal we would definitely stay again.

This is nothing more than a roadside motel. There is no restaurant or bar, only vending machines. There is no beach, only a dock. The bathroom was too small for even one person to turn around. It was mostly clean. The beds were not queens they were double beds. it did not feel safe .For $236 per night, we expected much more.

Our stay at the Bayside Inn was Ok. On the negative the shower had NO pressure at all. The water trickled out, i kid you not. The wall unit air conditioner was noticabley noisey. During the day, no problem, but at night it was not good. You had to request housekeeping because of covid. I personally believe that the short staff had a hard time keeping up. When you are at a sandy beech, you need housekeeping everyday. Bayside was not $100.00 a night hotel, so i expected more than what i recieved. On the plus side the bed was very comfortable. All staff there was helpful and very nice. The pool was decent and paddleboards were included in room and always available.

This was my first time in the keys. Driving down the strip and arriving I was a little concerned about this place. Once we got in the room with nicely updated in noise insulation was excellent. I stayed on the third floor and heard nothing from neighbors. Room was updated and comfortable. Especially enjoyed the mattress as I am a hot sleeper and I slept cool and comfortable all night and really felt relaxed. Had some drinks next door that were excellent at snooks. Made time to relax and get back patio. No hot tub pool was okay for small children. We did some snorkeling with a local tour company on the nearby reefs and that really got my water fix in. The clownfish were the best sight I’ve seen in a while. Don’t let the outward appearance of this establishment for you I found it to be pretty nice inside.
